A NEW, state-of-the-art headquarters for a leading global prepaid programme manager, which was developed by Sladen Estates, has opened in Peterborough.
The 40,000 sq ft building at Pavilions East in Hampton has now been leased by Access Prepaid, a division of Mastercard.
Work on site was recently completed and handed over to Access Prepaid, which is now fitting out before the 500 employees move into the building in the near future.
Chief executive at Sladen Estates Nick Sladen said the development, which was completed in partnership with Peveril Securities, was an indicator that industry and construction in Peterborough was once again on the rise.
He said: “We’re delighted to have provided Access Prepaid with a fantastic space for its headquarters.
“The building, which was completed to a tight schedule and delivered on time, is the largest office building we have constructed and was awarded the highly coveted BREAM ‘very good’ rating.”
Access Prepaid, which has over 17 years of global experience in its market, has always been based in Peterborough and has chosen to further invest its future in the area by choosing to have its new headquarters at Pavilions East.
